Program:
The Department of Electrical and Computer
Engineering at Wayne State University hosts a 10-week summer research
program for undergraduates. Eight students will be matched with
faculty mentors to work on exciting, cutting-edge research projects
with hands-on experience in the fields that include:

Program Activities:
In addition to research experience, students
will participate in weekly group meetings, tours of local high-tech
industries and local museums and social activities. The group meetings
will expose students to the research areas of faculty mentors, give
the students opportunities to gain both written and communication
skills by presenting their research talks and interacting with peers,
and offer assistance with graduate school and career preparation. The
program concludes with a research symposium and poster presentation.
Stipend and Benefits:

$525/week

trip air fair paid within the continental United States

Room
and board paid by the program at Wayne State University’s Residence Halls
